Implantation<\/h2>

An implant is an artificial root, onto which a tooth crown is placed, which will replace the missing tooth that was once in the patient’s jaw. Placing of implants is normally a two-stage surgical procedure, needing three or more visits in all. In case of ideal conditions for the third visit the artificial tooth is already there to replace the missing tooth. Often a hindrance is a deficit of the bone tissue, atrophy of the bone tissue under the sinus, long-term edentulism, and others. All this requires its own approach on restoration in temporal as well as financial meaning.<\/span><\/p>

Estimation of the results is possible but often not very precise. Because of this patients should be ready for possible setbacks. There are also contraindications to fitting an implant- whether they are present in the specific patient, will become evident after diagnostics and consultation with a doctor.<\/span><\/p>
